Visit to Bosnia and Kosovo

In May 2025, a delegation of Ukrainian women leaders conducted a study visit to the Western Balkans. The mission facilitated an exchange of expertise between Ukrainian, Bosnian, and Kosovar women’s and human rights organizations regarding women's involvement in post-war reconstruction, the pursuit of a just and lasting peace, community reconciliation, and the strengthening of national unity.

As part of the visit, partnerships were established with several organizations and initiatives, including Žene za Žene International, the Post-Conflict Research Center, the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial, TRIAL International, and the ‘Therapy Lab’ Psychological Counselling Center.

The visit established cooperation with organizations and initiatives such as the Kosovo Gender Studies Center, the Kosova Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims, and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network. Meetings were also held with the former President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, and the Kosovo Government Commission on First Instance Recognition and Verification of the Status of Persons Violated During the War.
