Iryna Drobovych is an expert in equality policy, women's political participation, and the effective involvement of women in peace and security processes.

In 2023–2024, Iryna was a Humphrey Fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, USA), and at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). During this time, she deepened her expertise as a strategist in gender policy and the meaningful participation of women in post-war recovery, reconciliation, and peacebuilding processes. She is also a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow.

Iryna serves as a National Consultant on Women’s Leadership, Political Participation, and Inclusive Recovery at UN Women Ukraine. Previously, she held the positions of Executive Director and Strategy Director at the Ukrainian national non-profit organization "Ukrainian Women's Congress" (2019–2023). She also worked as a Government Relations Advisor for the Kyiv Security Forum and the "Open Ukraine" Foundation (2016–2019) and served as an Assistant to the Prime Minister of Ukraine (2014–2016).

Iryna earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in International Strategy and Security from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2010). She also completed the "Good Governance" program at the Ukrainian Catholic University (2021) and the "Sustainable Public Management" program at the Swedish Institute (2019).
